Position: Situated in the charming hamlet of La Cour Barrée, about a mile from the peaceful village of Escolives and just under a mile from Champs sur Yonne for shops, supermarket and a couple of restaurants. The historic and picturesque city of Auxerre is just six miles away with the renowned wine making village of Chablis within easy driving distance. This is the heart of Northern Burgundy making it an ideal base from which to explore the region. The house has a nice garden with garden furniture and barbecue. There is easy access to the canal and river which is ideal for the many lovely walks to other villages.

Spacious sitting room with dining area and sitting area around the fireplace, television with English channels, DVD and hi-fi. The separate kitchen is well-equipped with electric rings, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, kettle and toaster. Washing machine. Upstairs, two large bedrooms, a double and a twin, share a bathroom and wc. Electricity included up to 50kw per week. One large towel and bed linen included.
