Position: The peaceful village of Sully, with its local auberge/restaurant, is dominated by the stunning Château, once home to the first President of France’s Third Republic and still owned and run by his ancestors today. Basic shops in Epinac just over two miles away. Autun is nine miles away with its wide choice of shops, bars, restaurants and local activities including a swimming pool. The vineyards of Cote d’Or and Beaune are close by as is the Morvan National Park. Set on a quiet street, the cottage forms part of the Château walls and from the back it looks out onto its grounds. Small, secluded courtyard with garden furniture and barbecue. Children’s swing. Free pass to the wonderful grounds of the Château with its interesting guided tours. Wine tasting possible (ask at Château boutique) and excursions available to the Château’s Chassagne Montrachet vineyards, 30 minutes away. 
Accommodation:
Entrance into the living room with comfortable seating round the wood burning stove and a television and video corner. Kitchen with table and chairs, cooker, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, toaster and doors to the courtyard. Off the kitchen is the bathroom with traditional hip bath/shower, basin, separate wc and washing machine/dryer. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a large double and a small twin. Telephone for incoming and local calls only. Electricity over 70kw per week payable locally. Bed linen and towels included.
