Position: La Tagnière is within walking distance with its restaurant and small grocery store where you can buy fresh bread. More extensive shopping ten minutes’ drive away at Etang sur Arroux. Beautiful walks in the surrounding area. Riding about ten minutes’ drive and two golf courses 10 miles away. The wine producing areas around Beaune, the Côte d’Or and Beaujolais are also all close enough for a day trip. Situated just opposite the stunning chateau, the house has a sunny courtyard with garden furniture, barbecue and table tennis. Fishing lake within the grounds which is free to use. Above the house, which adjoins that of the housekeeper, are the tennis court and swimming pool (10x5m) with Roman steps and security shelf all the way around. Both are for the exclusive use of guests except when the owner’s family is in residence at the château, mainly in Jul/Aug. There are also parts of the château grounds that the owner’s family keeps for private use, but there are acres of beautiful parkland offering peace and tranquility and plenty of space for everybody.

Stylishly refurbished and modernised but retaining many pieces of antique furniture. Lounge with huge open fireplace, comfortable seating and television. Dining room with table and chairs with doors to the courtyard. Separate kitchen with gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Washing machine. Also on the ground floor, a shower room and wc. Upstairs are four bedrooms, a double with en suite bath, shower and separate wc, another double and two twins. Bathroom with wc. Cot available. Heating and wood payable locally. Bed linen available extra cost payable locally.
