Position: The house is five minutes drive from the medieval town of Barbezieux where there is a good choice of food shops, supermarkets, museum, a chateau and a XVth century church. For a day on the beach, Royan or Ile d’Oléron are an hour away. The one acre garden is child friendly with an enclosed swimming pool (10x5m). Terrace with barbecue for al fresco dining. Large kitchen seating 10, well equipped with hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and fridge/freezer. Utility room with washing machine and wc. Downstairs lounge with large stone fireplace, sofas and armchairs; mezzanine lounge with satellite TV and video. The downstairs double and twin with extra bed share a bathroom and wc. Off the mezzanine are a twin and a double bedroom sharing a bathroom and wc. High chair and travel cot available. Electricity above 60kw is payable locally. Bed linen included, beds made on arrival.
