Position: Just over a mile from Prayssac for shops and restaurants and close to Puy L’Eveque with its medieval old town on the banks of the Lot. Cahors vineyards close by and some 20 miles from the colourful town of Cahors. Also within easy reach of the Dordogne valley about an hours drive away. Set on a hillside with lovely views across the valley, this beautiful house built in the traditional style of the Quercy with a ‘pigeonnier’, stands in over an acre of well maintained gardens, with extensive lawns and well stocked flower beds. Next to the swimming pool (12x6m), which is fenced, is a covered terrace with summer kitchen and barbecue and there is ample garden furniture and table tennis. The large living room with huge stone fireplace with unique cast iron fireback leads to a dining area with chimney barbecue. Laundry room leading to a double garage. On the ground floor are three bedrooms, a double with extra bed, shower and wc and one twin and another double with dressing room and extra bed. Two further bathrooms with wc, one with bath and shower jacuzzi, the other with shower. Upstairs are two twin rooms, one in the pigeonnier with dressing room, the other over the dining area sharing a bathroom with shower and separate wc. The sixth large twin bedroom with its own kitchen and shower room with wc, and covered terrace is situated in a separate building below the swimming pool.
