Position: The village of Montlaur within walking distance has basic shops, a café, tennis courts and a riding centre. Lagrasse, reputed to be one of the most attractive villages in France, Lezignan and Carcasonne are all within half an hour’s drive, with the sandy Mediterranean beaches slightly further. The owner will recommend the best vineyards to visit as he is head of the agency which controls the wine producers of the Corbières. Map reference D1/2 page 184.The Moulin and the owner’s house stand alone on the hillside, giving magnificent views from the sunny terrace, where there are deck chairs and barbecue. The swimming pool (9x4m) has the same lovely views, is at the far side of the owner’s house and has a safety shelf for children. The Moulin also has a covered terrace with table and chairs. 
Accommodation:
The circular main room has table and chairs and kitchen area with cooking rings, small oven, dishwasher and fridge. From here a ladder leads up to the twin bedroom. Back on the ground floor is a double bedroom, shower room with basin, wc and washing machine. Bed linen included. Bring your own towels.
