Position: Situated in a small hamlet of only half a dozen houses, between the villages of Cuves, one mile away and St. Pois, two miles away. Nearest town is Brecey some five miles away, with a full selection of shops, and a Friday market. The larger towns of Vire, Villedieu les Poeles and Avranches are all easily accessible. Villedieu has a large market on Tuesdays and many excellent local craft museums and attractions. Lovely walks in the Forests of Saint Sever nearby and sailing and golf at the lake of Dathee. Slightly further to the sandy beaches of the Cotentin and Le Mont St Michel. Excellent gastronomic restaurant Le Moulin de Jean is less than a ten minute walk away, just beyond the hamlet. Open air swimming pool at the ‘zone de loisirs’ just outside Brecey. This restored farmer’s cottage is set in a large orchard garden with an old barn, surrounded by fields; it is very secluded and peaceful, standing in some two acres at the end of a track, with no passing traffic. Lots of space for children to play in safety. Barbecue and garden furniture provided.
