Les Issambres  Les Issambres is on a stretch of the Mediterranean between Ste Maxime and Frejus, ideally placed for exploring the coast from St Tropez to Cannes and Nice. In the village itself and along this stretch of coastline there are beaches, basic shops, bars, restaurants, tennis courts, windsurfing, water skiing and diving club. You can take a boat trip from Les Issambres to St Tropez in July and August, and there is a choice of other boat trips to the islands or just around the bay. There are two 18 hole golf courses, one at Ste Maxime and another at Roquebrune, each about six miles away. There is a large supermarket in Puget sur Argent about 20 minutes drive and plenty of local markets in the various villages and towns in the area. |
