Suggested Itinerary and Distances in Miles  The area can be reached in a five or six hours after taking an overnight ferry to Caen or St Malo or a day’s drive following an early morning ferry or Eurotunnel crossing to Calais. Or we recommend a more leisurely drive with, perhaps a stop at an en route hotel in the Paris area or the Loire valley. Alternatively you can fly to one of the regional airports and pick a car from there.
