Villas, Cottages and Gites in Les Landes...

Choose gites, holiday villas or holiday cottages in Les Landes and visit a place that, just two centuries ago, was little more than a barren swamp. Today it is home to one of Europe's largest forests. Swathes of dark green pine trees extend as far as the eye can see across two thirds of Les Landes, an amazing sight and a unique landscape. Take a gite in Les Landes and run wild exploring the spectacular coast, the Cote d'Argent or silver coast. Here pure white sands stretch uninterrupted for 100 miles. Thrill seekers descend on Les Landes in their thousands for some of Europe's best surfing, especially in Hossegor. Or try your hand at sand yachting!

Everyone loves the region's delightful resorts. Book a holiday villa in Les Landes for easy access to Moliets, Arcachon, Biscarosse, Seignosse, Biarritz and the lively fishing village of St Jean de Luz. The area is also scattered with lakes. Some, like Vieux Boucau, Hossegor and Etang St Léon, are ideal for fishing, windsurfing and paddle boats. Others are reserved for nature and offer excellent bird watching. Take a holiday cottage in Les Landes and experience this vibrant Basque flavoured region in the foothills of the Pyrenees. You can even enjoy the Landais version of bullfighting. The animal is not killed. Instead the object is to get as close to its horns as possible without touching them.
